Cheryl Wheeler – Estate Sale

Cheryl Wheeler’s Estate Sale is a favorite in all circles. What a great job Joanne Gardner did putting this “event” onto film. Nothing short of brilliant.

I agree Melanie did such a better job with this song…. not to say Cheryl isn’t a talented soul because she is… but Melanie’s is so much more pleasent to listen to…..

I LOVE THIS SONGI My hubby and I used to request it on the radio every, single Saturday before hitting them as professional flea market vendors. $200 in hand and a van… move it to where people will spend more for it. Okay, kinda “mean”, but it got us enough money to move across country in eight weeks. This is before “Antique Road Show”, of course.

Went to one today, bittersweet. One day, though, my kids will be holding one selling all my finds!

I have been fan of Cheryl’s since I found her album Circles and arrows in a public library in King Count WA in the mid 1980’s. The cover of that CD had the photo touch ups circled on it. I finally found a copy of the album with the finished photo on it. And it is still one of my favorites of all time. This song is still my most favorite of the whole album. I hope finally to realize a long time dream of seeing Cheryl live this spring.
