How Do I Go About Starting A Real Estate Career With A Nevada Home Builder?

I have been researching Nevada Home builders websites and they all clearly state that all sales applicants must hold a valid real estate license. Is there any way they would hire someone who just got out of school? Please answer asap

Most likely you would not find a company that would hire for a sales position. I’m not positive about Nevada law, but in most states it’s around 75 hours of classroom time and about $1000 total to take the classes and test to get licensed. Usually you can find the classes on the nights or weekends. The whole process should take about a month, and it’s not incredibly difficult.
By the way, with a volume builder, expect 6-8 months of solid work before you see your first commission check. There are a lot of agents due to the ease of getting the license, and a few years of a very strong housing market. The major builders like to stick their new agents in communities that have already been sold out, but still require an onsite agent for customer service issues. Lately, some of these agents have been getting lucky with spec sales for houses that fell out of escrow, but that’s not always the case.
