SQ’s Suites are constantly monitored by the IFS or LSS. They would walk through the cabin every 10-15 minutes and look into your cabin. Or just walking by and glancing over the top of your suite. The suites are not completely private like a room.

what i wonder is what will happen if the plan crashes in the ocean and your in the suit. i know that in some airlines they have doors that close. what would happen if the door closing motor shut down in an emergency?

SQ suites have manual doors, its not automated like Emirates.

singapore airlines is the best airline in world
