I brought A new pou lan snowthrower and it wont stay running no longer than 15 to 20 minsI heard I may have the gas cap on to tightor the vent is clogged. I can’t seem to find if it is clogged or not. I shone a flashlight inside the cap to see if light would show though where the pinhole was, but there was nothing. Can u help me out?

my 5 horse snow king looks the same.. just smaller lol. runs well. it was a replacement engine, wore out the briggs that was on it originally. Airens blower. also that red thing you pulled out is sposed to shut it off, you probably know that, it must either have a broken or disconnected wire. Or a rusty ground connection.

Keep going over them and learning! Every engine I tore apart I think there was something I learned. Great to be a Gear head!

The motor on my minibike is an old tecumseh kirby and it is great. In my opinion the only good motors that companies are making now are Briggs and Stratton and Honda.
