I’ve heard of some places that are easier to get started than others, and some who actually charge you for on-the-job training. I’ve also heard of some that make you rent your desk in the office. What places are better and what places should I avoid when looking for a job?

Posted by james in Real Estate on September 3rd, 2009
I am a new real estate agent. Does the real estate company you work for normally provide virtual tour software for you to use or is this completely up to the agent to do? Do agents normally create their own tour, or do they normally hire someone to do it? Is it easy? How long does it take?
What’s The Best Way To Liquidate An Estate When Nobody Is Interested?
Posted by james in Real Estate on September 3rd, 2009
My mother passed away in November and I have had little luck in selling the things I wanted to from her house. She was a “collector” and has lots of furniture, china and glassware. No auctioneers, estate sellers or antique dealers are interested. I get the same story from all of them – the antique market is flooded right now and nobody is buying. I know I can’t get good prices for her “treasures” at a lawn sale. Any advice on how I should proceed?

What Is The Best Way To Go About Finding An Estate Planning Attorney In The Tri-city Area In Wa?
Posted by james in Real Estate on August 4th, 2009
I am looking to help a family member find an estate planning lawyer based in the Tri-City area in Washington. The estate is around 1.5 to 2 million. Are there rankings for estate planning lawyers? I have looked in the phone book, however, I have no way to really know how much the services should cost and how to determine if a given lawyer is good.
Thanks!
