What I mean by this is, after working and saving some money from a previous career, how can you go about making a nice income in real estate? Should you get some type of related education and join a company? Would buying property and renting it out generate the most income?
How do some people do very well in this field of work and is it possible for the average person to make a high income from it?

I am looking to purchase a home from an estate of a person who was a PA medicaid recipient. I assume that the state will have interest in the estate so what should I expect to happen? This home is in a good location but it needs alot of work such as foundation, electrical etc. How do they determine a price for this home and will the price lower because of all the repairs it needs? Any info will be appreciated, thanks.

My uncle died without leaving a will or naming an executor to his estate. His spouse is deceased and he had no children. It will fall on my aunts and uncles to sort things out. How do they go about naming an executor to his estate? Will we need a lawyer? He lived in Texas.
