    Now I don’t have a clue why I watched this or anything about coffee grinding but when she says at 0:12 about needing surface area, the finer it is more surface area

    While you are correct, she doesn’t say “lots of surface area,” but rather, “proper surface area.” I guess this implies that the “proper” amount of surface area is less than the other two grinds.

    If you think about it yes, the smaller the thing is the less of it is inside itself, if you know what I mean, so this means that what was inside the coffee is now on the outside, sorry for that shite explanation but look it up, tis incredibly simple
